Change of Plans

Sometimes I have really good posts, but I can't quite come up with a fitting title. Sometimes I have something important to say, but I can't find the perfect title.

I am not sure which category this post falls in, but the perfect title is just beyond my reach tonight.

You see, I have some news to share. And since I am tired and not sure exactly how to begin, I am just going to be direct. Direct is best, right?

Earlier today I accepted a job at hospital outside of Nashville, TN. While this is definitely not something I saw coming three to four months ago, I honestly am very excited about this opportunity and move. Things have "fallen together" rather quickly...from making the connections at the hospital to getting my nursing license in TN. To top it off, I will be moving in about two and a half weeks.

I do ask that you all pray as I wrap things up at work and in my life here in FL. I also have a lot of packing to do in the mean time. I am still working on my living situation in TN. I thought I had found a house to buy, but that door appears to have shut. There is another one (and of course a better one) that has opened in its place...if of course requires me to be patient and wait.

It's a good thing, I have some experience with patience and waiting!

YAY!! CONGRATS!! Change is always good! And TN is a great place to live. We loved it there (although we were in Memphis). Let me know where in Nashville you will be. I have some family around there if you need anything! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during this time. Good luck with the move!!! And maybe when the kids and I come through Nashville we can get together.

Wow! Do you mean we are your great living possibility? Reed is already cleaning out the closet for you. Anyway, I hope you get packed fast, and we cannot wait for you to be here! Free babysitting! On a serious note, would ya quit following us around? On a truly serious note, you know we are so excited for you and can't wait to hang out.

Thanks everyone. For those that asked, I will be in Springfield, which is just north of Nashville.

Rissa- No, I'm sorry I won't be able to make movie night. I will try to watch the movie on my own though. I must confess, I am struggling to get in to the book.

JAaRL- For the record, I did not follow you to MS or TX. I was at MC first, and yes technically you were in TX before me, but I was returning home! ;) On a serious note, yes

how about "late breaking news" for a post title? or "here i go again" or "will you miss me when i'm gone?" or "hi ho, hi ho - it's off to work in Tenn. i go" or "just when you thought i would settle down" or "how long should i decently wait before i come visit you for a Florida vacation?"
but seriously, so glad and excited that everything "fell together" for you and your life is fluid enough for you to be adventerous! this is the time to take advantage of every opportunity to remain mobile and to experience all your own choices of going and doing whatever you would like! the day will surely come when you will walk that aisle (no, not your rededication but your wedding aisle), and you know the old saying "first came love, then came marriage, then came Jane with the baby carriage"! your freedom will definitely be more restricted at that point in your life. so go for it!
you will be very missed in our little circle of love! is there any possibility of getting to see you before you depart our locale? if not, i do have a daughter living near Nashville! i will make a point of finding you when i go up for a visit!!
