I've heard runners describe hitting the wall. It finally dawned on me that I was doing this within the last day or two. Some where after about 12 minutes of running I hit the wall, and I hit it hard and fast. Up until tonight I would just take two to three minutes and walk and then pick it back up for another 10 to 12 minutes. Tonight I was determined to push through and push through I did. I only ran for 20 minutes, but it was 20 minutes solid...no walking! Tomorrow I will begin building on that 20 minutes with the goal being to run between 30 and 40 minutes straight several times a week.
I feel quite accomplished and very tired! :)

great job! i remember the first time I did that, I thought "Now, I am an athlete!" It felt great. Running can be a great time to pray, once you get past gasping for air the whole time.
Hey Ginese! Thanks for stopping by. I have never claimed to be a runner, even when I was playing three different sports, so this is all new to me. I find myself doing a lot of praying and a lot of worshiping when I run. I have come to really appreciate my iPod. :)
