New Look and Fall

First of all, I would like to say that the new look has nothing to do with the opinions that have been expressed about the look I tried earlier in the week. I had become tired of the other one and rushed to change. I wasn't completely happy with it. It has also become a tad more noticeable that Fall is here...well, at least as much as it every comes here.

Have I ever shared that Fall is my favorite season. I never really enjoyed it until I spent Fall in Virginia. I loved the crisp, cool mornings. The leaves turned red and orange. Then to top it all off, the evenings had a beautiful breeze and gorgeous sunsets. Fall reminds me of football games and jackets. The occasional smell of fire burning in the fireplace. Hot chocolate with marshmallows. The first frost. Pumpkins and Thanksgiving. I could go on and on and on...

I really looked for a picture of leaves and trees, but was having trouble with my clip art, but this is one is pretty cute...even if I say so myself.

i agree. very cute photo... cute kid and he sort of matches the pumpkins. i love, love the fall - only it doesn't ever really seem to get to tampa until it merges with winter. but if per chance i get to go north at all- i am in love with fall.

Thanks Meems...he does match the pumpkins! I had some that were taken more recently, but I have always loved that facial expression. Tampa doesn't get much fall. I think I I grew to appreciate it after being in VA. From there I lived in China in the "city of eternal Spring". It wasn't just a slogan. Spring, rainy season, Spring, cold, Spring. Two whole years. Oh well, maybe the next place I live will have Fall!

i like the new look and the new photos and all the "new" stuff you've added. your reading list cracks me up (The Bible by God). i'm with you on loving the fall season and missing being a little further north to realllllly enjoy it. then again, come winter time, i'll be very grateful to be in tampa!

mlm- Thanks. Glad I could crack you up. How would you have worded that one?

Oh, I probably would have worded it some boring old way. I LOVE your way. I think it's hilariously creative and also true! I love it!
