More Than I Imagined

About a year ago I began searching for the perfect home, my first house. I have seen quite a few homes...more than I care to count and several that I do not even want to remember.

When I came to Tennessee in January I looked at a few houses, and found one I really like. However, by the time I was ready to make an offer, it had sold. I decided that I would find something after I had been here a while. I've only looked at one house since...of course I've looked at a bunch online. Anyway, yesterday my offer was accepted on this house.

It is everything I dreamed for and more. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. There is a bonus room over the garage, which is fairly common here. There is a deck off the living room. It also in the same neighborhood as Jeff and Abbey and take just a few minutes to walk to their house.

There will be an inspection this week, which I am not worried about since the home is only 5 years old. The closing is schedule for the end of May...at the latest middle of June...my mortgage broker is a little worried about getting everything complete by May 30th.

Thanks for all your prayers on this long journey.

Yowzers!! the dream is finally coming to pass! this is awesome good news! God is so good, all the time! you, Jane M. are going to be a homeowner at last! and what a beautiful home too! you go girl! how cool is that to be near your good friends, have privacy (no apt problem neighbors), and so new and clean and move-in ready! all your needs wrapped up into one perfect place! only seems fitting after all your disappointments in the past! but God has rewarded you for your diligence! congrats to you!

"For God is not unrighteous to forget or overlook your labor and the love which you have shown for His name's sake in ministering to the needs of the saints - His own consecrated people - as you still do. ... In order that you may not grow disinterested and become (spiritual) sluggards but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (that is, by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness), and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are (now) inheriting the promises". Heb. 6:10,12 ampl

Dreamlady- Yes, yes, yes!!! I definitely feel a promise has been fulfilled. Not in the way I originally thought and definitely not in the timing that I originaly anticipated, but He is faithful. I feel that this is just one of the many ways God has shown His faithfulness to me as of late. Next time you are this way, you'll have to come over to visit!
