Over the next few days I will highlight thirty of my most memorable experiences in life.
- Waking up in China for the very first time...I heard horses outside my window.
- Whitewater rafting with my entire family on our trip to Yellowstone.
- Kangaroo hunting in Australia.
- Holding my nephew just minutes after he was born.
- Being in both of my brother's weddings.
- Running out on the court of my first varsity basketball game and being announced as a 6' senior...I was a 5'10" sophomore.
- My grandfather teaching me to drive...the first Saturday after I turned 15...I thought he was so cool!
- My dad handing me my high school diploma.
- My family coming to China to visit.
- Being at my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary party and then this summer when I attended their 65th wedding anniversary party.

Happy Birthday Jane! And congratulations on your new adventure. I have no doubt you will do well. Love, K
Happy Birthday!
i can't wait to hear all those stories! it should take care of your coming posts for the next few days! and with you packing, and relocating, it should keep you plenty busy! so, with that said, i would also like to add:
happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear Jane, happy birthday to you!
(wish i could sing it to you in person, but use your imagination)
btw - what did you plan to do to celebrate??
Glad you liked it! Mom spotted it at the store where she works, and I knew you had to have it!
Okay the first ten were pretty memorable. I don't think I could come up with 30 ... but I know you can so I'm waiting for the next 20...
Happy Birthday!
Coach K- Thanks...I'm excited. I am trying to figure out if there is an easier way to prepare for this adventure...packing paper and tape is not what I had in mind!
Snow- Thanks as well.
Gigi- I did have plans to celebrate...A good friend of mine and I spend yesterday and today at Disney World. I couldn't think of a better place to be a "grown up"!
JAaRL- You're the best!
Meems- Hope these last ones are good as well...It was tougher than I thought!
ooooh, I like this post! all that you've done in your short life. Imagine your post at 60!! And I like the shirt too! Funny, #5 makes it sound like you have one brother, but he had two weddings, and you were at both. I had to read it over a couple of times. LOL!
Rissa- Nope, two brothers, two weddings, one for each! :)
